New Zürich office - international advice in an international city
We are delighted to announce the opening of our new office in Zürich, Switzerland in April 2011. The office offers advice to individual and institutional clients on US, UK and Russian tax planning; tax compliance and regulatory advice; structuring for international families and comparative law. In addition to our established Geneva office, this underlines our commitment to the Swiss marketplace and to our clients to ensure we continue to service them through key international locations.
Switzerland remains vital as an international gateway for investment and wealth management - with a third of all global private wealth under management there. This wealth often has international components which need expert advice and coordination between other jurisdictions. The Swiss stock exchange is located in central Zürich and is currently the 6th largest stock exchange market in the world. Over a third of all banking institutions in Switzerland have their headquarters in Zürich - the total assets of these banks amount to 81.7% of all total assets currently held in Switzerland. Increasingly Eastern European wealth is moving towards Zürich for management.
